- March Bedtime Story Sketch -

Each Waltzingmouse Pajama Party ends with a so-called Bedtime story sketch - this is a sketch challenge that is presented on the night of the pajama party. Inspiration samples are shown on the Pajama Party blog post and there is one week time to link up the challenge card.

From this contribution to the Waltzingmouse March Pajama Party I still had the "ingredients" on my table, i.e. cardstock, stamps, inks, etc. and today I finally had the time to use them to make a card according to this sketch:

- WMS November Pajama Party -

Auch diesen Monat gibt es wieder eine neue Waltzingmouse Pajama Party. / This month there is again a new Waltzingmouse Pajama Party.

Dieses Mal gibt es 4 Herausforderungen, aber aus Zeitgründen konnte ich nur eine umsetzen und zwar die Nummer 4, bei der es darum geht, Weihnachtsdekorationen zu machen. Es kann etwas sein, das man an den Baum hängen oder auf dem Tisch aufstellen kann. Unser Weihnachtsbaum ist hauptsächlich mit roten Kugeln und weissen Kerzen geschmückt und so habe ich mir gedacht, ein paar rot-weisse Ornamente wären eine schöne Ergänzung. Ich habe bisher nur 3 Stück in verschiedenen Grössen gemacht; falls ich noch Zeit habe, mache ich noch ein paar mehr. Verwendet habe ich das Set "2011 Holiday Ornaments". Das grosse und mittlere Ornament bestehen aus je 7 Teilen, das kleine aus 5.

This time there are 4 challenges but for lack of time I could only chose one challenge namely challenge 4 which is to create Christmas decorations. It can be anything that can hang on a tree or stand on a table. Our christmas tree is mainly decorated with red Christmas baubles and white candles so I thought that some ornaments in red-white would be a nice addition. Up to now I have only made 3 ornaments in different sizes; if I still have time I will to make some more. I used the set "2011 Holiday Ornaments". The large and medium ornament consist of 7 parts each, the small one of 5.

- WMS October Pajama Party -

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Pajama Party bei Waltzingmouse. / Time again for another Waltzingmouse Pajama Party.

Es gibt dieses Mal 3 Herausforderungen und ich habe mich für die "Greenish Halloweenish" entschieden. Es geht darum, eine grüne Halloweenkarte/ein grünes Halloweenprojekt zu machen. / This time there are 3 challenges and I decided to go for the "Greenish Halloweenish" which is to make a card/project featuring Halloween and the colour green.

Ich habe ein einziges Halloween Stempel Set von WMS und dieses habe ich für meine grüne Karte verwendet. Einen "halloweenmässigen" Baum habe ich nicht, deshalb habe ich als "Ersatz" den Baum aus dem Set "Asian Gardens" verwendet. / I have one single WMS Halloween stamp set which I used for my green card. I don't have a "spooky" tree so I took the tree from the set "Asian Gardens" instead.

- WMS Pajama Party of August 30 / Colour Inspiration -

 

Bei der Waltzingmouse "Pajama Party" gibt es dieses Mal ja 4 Herausforderungen und neben meiner Karte für die "Golden Oldies" habe ich mich noch an der Farbinspiration versucht. 

At the Waltzingmouse "Pajamy Party" there are this time 4 challenges and besides my card for the "Golden Oldies" I also tried to make a card according to the colour inspiration:

Ich muss zugeben, dass dies Farben sind, die ich selbst nie zusammen kombiniert hätte. Aber ich wollte mich dieser Herausforderung stellen und nach einigen Überlegungen bezüglich Stempelkissen habe ich dann tatsächlich eine Karte geschafft. Um die rotbraune Farbe zu erhalten, habe ich die Stempel mit drei verschiedenen Stempelkissen eingefärbt.

I must admit that I never would have combined these colours. But I wanted to try this combination and after finding the right ink pads I actually managed to make a card. To obtain the reddish brown colour, I used three different ink pads for the stamps:

- WMS Pajama Party of August 30 / Golden Oldies -

Erneut gibt es bei Waltzingmouse Stamps eine "Pajama Party" und Einzelheiten dazu gibt es wieder auf Claires Blog. Dieses Mal gibt es 4 Herausforderungen und ich habe mich für die vierte Aufgabe entschieden, sie lautet "Golden Oldies". Es soll ein Projekt gemacht werden mit dem ältesten Stempel, den man hat. Man kann natürlich auch den ersten WMS Stempel verwenden, den man gekauft hat. Das erste Stempelset von WMS war bei mir das Set "Asian Gardens" und so habe ich damit eine Karte gemacht.

Again there is a "Pajama Party" at Waltzingmouse Stamps and details can again be found on the Waltzingmouse blog. This time there are 4 challenges and I chose the fourth challenge which is called "Golden Oldies". The challenge is to make a project using the oldes stamp you have. Of course, you can also use the first WMS stamp you ever bought. My first WMS stamp set was the set "Asian Gardens" and I took some stamps from that set to make my card.

- WMS Pajama Party -

Bei Waltzingmouse Stamps gibt es eine sogenannte Pajama Party, Einzelheiten dazu findet Ihr auf Claires Blog. Die Aufgabe besteht darin, gemäss einer der verschiedenen Herausforderungen eine Karte zu machen. Da ich für die beiden ersten Herausforderungen nicht die passenden Stempel besitze, habe ich mich für die dritte Aufgabe entschieden, nämlich einen Hintergrund herzustellen. Ich spiele immer gerne mit Farben und Mustern und so war das die ideale Herausforderung für mich, da ich gestempelte Hintergründe sehr gerne mag. Eigentlich hätte ich nach den Ferien genug anderes zu tun... aber ich wollte heute lieber kreativ sein...

Die Stempelsets "Folk Art Medallion" und "Folk Art Label 25" bieten sehr schöne Muster, um damit einen Hintergrund zu gestalten und ich habe damit eine kleine Karte gemacht.

As I don't have the necessary stamps for the two first challenges, I chose the third challenge which is to make a card using background stamping. I always like playing with colours and patterns and so this was the ideal challenge for me as I very much like stamped backgrounds. After my vacation I should rather do other things... but today I just wanted to be creative..

The stamps sets "Folk Art Medallion" and "Folk Art Label 25" contain very pretty patterns for stamping a background and I used them for a little card.
