Besides fall I also love winter. When it's cold outside, I love sitting on the couch, reading a good book and drinking a cup of coffee or tea. As it was - compared to the last few weeks - rather cool over the week-end, I decided to make a winterly card using stamps, dies and a stencil from My Favourite Things.
For the big snowflake I used water color paper which I colored with distress ink "Tumbled Glass". For the snowflakes in the background I used the MFT stencil "Snowfall" and Wendi Vecchi embossing paste. Once the flakes were dry, I put some "glitter" on them using the Wink of Stella "Clear". I did the same on the snowflake, the snow on the signpost as well as on the "snow" on which the polar bear is standing. However, this unfortunately does not show on the picture, but on the real card you can actually see that fine shimmer.
I stamped the little snowflake on the cup and in the middle of that snowflake I put a very little rhinestone.
I used dimensionals to fix the frame, the polar bear, the snowflake and the signpost on the card.
