Waltzingmouse Fanatics Challenge celebrated its first birthday on September 6, so first of all I wish a happy birthday, even though I'm a little late... To celebrate this event there is a new challenge #26 with the theme "Birthday/Anniversary".
I try to participate in the challenges as often as possible as they always offer great inspirations for the Waltzingmouse stamps. However, I haven't participated for quite some time, but summer holidays and some unexpected family events kept me from stamping for quite some time. But the first birthday of this challenge blog is a good reason to celebrate, so I took some of my Waltzingmouse stamps and made the following card:
Stamps: Waltzingmouse
Ink pads: SU "Baja Breeze" and Versafine "Onyx Black"
Die: MFT Stamps "Catch a wave"
Other: Cardstock, Dimensionals
I stamped the pinwheel twice and once cut out the whole pinwheel and once just the inner part. I glued the complete pinwheel directly on the card base and then added the inner part with dimensionals. I stamped that inner part twice with the SU ink pad "Baja Breeze" so that it is darker and gives a contrast to the dotted parts of the pinwheel. The striped parts on the right and the left are from the set "Pic-nic patterns".
So wonderful and fun, Carola. Love the pinwheel in these lovely colors. Your dimension on the pinwheel is terrific!
AntwortenLöschenAgree with Lynn, pinwheel is very sweet :) Nice project Carola :)
