- Washi Tape -

The so called Washi Tape is nowadays very often used on cards. The tape is available in different colours and designs, but unfortunately you can only buy it in rolls. On the Waltzingmouse blog, Claire has shown a great tutorial how to make this tape yourself. Thus you can make it quite quickly and easily in the quantities and colours you want.

With her tutorial Claire has made a challenge: make your own Washi tape with Waltzingmouse stamps and use it on a card.

To make my Washi Tape, I used the stamps from the "Pic-Nic Patterns" Set:

Stempel: Waltzingmouse
Stempelkissen: SU "Oliv" ("Old Olive"), SU "Chili" ("Cherry Cobbler"), Distress Inks "Crushed Olive", "Shabby Shutters" und "Peeled Paint"
Sonstiges: Cardstock

  4. I love your choice of greens and the nice pointed edge you gave the tape. I only ever think to tear it, which was a bit rough with this homemade version.
